AP Physics 1 Prerequisites

Physics is the quantitative study of how objects in the physical world interact. At the high school level, physics involves significantly more math than other science courses. Most of the work requires using algebra, geometry, and basic trigonometry formulas to model real-world situations, and solving for the variable of interest. Students taking physics should be prepared for homework and tests that are mostly algebra-based word problems.
